Heated Oxygen Sensor (G1817215): Removal

  1. Remove the engine cover.

    Refer to: ENGINE COVER - INGENIUM I4 2.0L DIESEL

  2. CAUTION:
    • Make sure the H02S wiring harness is not twisted more than 180 degrees and is not in contact with the exhaust.
    • Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.
    • Make sure the anti-seize compound does not contact the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) tip.
