Clutch Pedal Position Sensor (G1858363): Removal

CAUTION:

Before disconnecting any components, make sure the area is clean and free from foreign material. When disconnected all openings must be sealed.
Brake fluid will damage paint finished surfaces. If spilled, immediately remove the fluid and clean the area with water.

Remove the cowl panel.
Refer to: COWL PANEL
Remove the instrument panel lower trim panel.
Refer to the appropriate repair information

Reposition the engine wiring harness.

Disconnect the low pressure pipe from the clutch master cylinder.

- Remove the retainer.
- Disconnect the high pressure pipe from the clutch master cylinder.

Disconnect the electrical connector.
Open the driver's door.

Disconnect the electrical connector.

Disconnect the clutch pedal position sensor electrical connector.

- Remove the 3 nuts.
- Remove the clutch pedal assembly.

Rotate and remove the guide pin.

Rotate and remove the clutch master cylinder from the pedal assembly.
