Right Engine Mount - INGENIUM I4 2.0L Diesel - Mid, Low Power (G1914829): Removal

Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

Remove the engine undershield.

Release the vacuum pipe and reposition away from the engine mount assembly.
Remove the charge air cooler intake pipe.

CAUTION: Use a suitable 100mm X 100mm block of wood to support the engine.

Using a suitable hydraulic jack support the engine as highlighted in the illustration.

General Equipment: Hydraulic floor jacks (2 tonnes minimum capacity)

1. Remove the engine mount nut.
2. Release the ground cable and reposition away from the engine mount.

Remove the 2 engine mount retaining bolts.

Remove the upper engine mount bracket bolt.

Release the 3 remaining engine mount bracket bolts and remove the engine mount bracket.
NOTE: Note the fitted position of the component prior to removal.

Remove the engine mount from the vehicle.
NOTE:
1. This step is only required if a new engine mount is to be installed.
2. This step only applies to X761 vehicles manufactured up to 09/2020.

Remove and discard the section of active engine mount vacuum hose.
NOTE:
1. This step is only required if a new engine mount is to be installed.
2. This step only applies to X761 vehicles manufactured up to 09/2020.

Install the section of active engine mount vacuum hose, as shown in the illustration.
