Right Engine Mount - INGENIUM I4 2.0L Diesel - High Power (G2259070): Installation

NOTE:
1. This step is only required if a new engine mount is to be installed.
2. This step only applies to X761 vehicles manufactured up to 09/2020.

Install the section of active engine mount vacuum hose, as shown in the illustration.

Renew Part: Vacuum pipe attachment - right side Quantity: 1 .
Install the right engine mount.
Install the 2 engine mount retaining bolts.
Torque : 47.5Nm
1. Install the engine mount bracket.
  Torque : 60Nm
2. Install the engine mount retaining nut finger tight at this stage.
Remove the hydraulic jack.
General Equipment: Hydraulic floor jacks (2 tonnes minimum capacity)
Install the vacuum pipe onto the engine mount assembly.
Install the high pressure turbocharger.

Loosen the left engine mount nut.
Raise the vehicle on the ramp.
WARNING: Observe due care when working near a hot exhaust system.

Loosen the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) fasteners.

Loosen the transmission mount fasteners.

Loosen the transmission mount fasteners.

Loosen the exhaust clamp.
Lower the vehicle on the ramp.
1. To align the exhaust, follow the steps below.
2. Start and stop the engine 4 times.
3. Start the engine.
4. Raise the engine Revolutions Per Minute (RPM) to between 3000 RPM and 4000 RPM - Repeat this 5 times.
5. Stop the engine.
6. Start and stop the engine 5 times.

Tighten the right engine mount nut.

Torque : 60Nm

Tighten the left engine mount nut.

Torque : 60Nm
Raise the vehicle on the ramp.

Tighten the transmission mount fasteners.

Torque : 60Nm

Tighten the transmission mount fasteners.

Torque : 60Nm

Tighten the DPF fasteners.

Torque : 25Nm

Tighten the exhaust clamp.

Torque : 55Nm
Install the engine undershield.
