Exhaust Valve Stem Seals (G2045635): Removal

    1. Remove the cylinder head.

      Refer to: CYLINDER HEAD

    1. Using the special tool, compress the valve spring.
    2. Remove the 2 collets.
  3. CAUTION: Note the fitted position of the component prior to removal.

    1. Decompress the valve spring and remove the special tool.
    2. Remove the spring cap, valve spring and valve.
    3. Repeat the process for the remaining 7 exhaust valves.
    1. Remove and discard the valve stem seals.
    2. Clean and inspect the valve seat.
