Crankshaft Pulley (G1817144): Installation

    Using the special tool install a new front crankshaft seal.

    Special Tool(s): JLR-303-1628 

    Torque  : 26Nm 

  2. NOTE:
    1. Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free from foreign material.
    2. Install crankshaft damper onto guide pin for correct installation.

    Special Tool(s): JLR-303-1630

    Before installing the new crankshaft damper bolts check the length of the thread as shown in the illustration. The new bolts must be 48mm in length.

  4. CAUTION: Make sure that new bolts are installed.

    Install four crankshaft damper bolts.

    Special Tool(s): JLR-303-1630 

    Torque 

    Stage 1: 37Nm 

    Stage 2: 90°

  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
