Brake Caliper - INGENIUM I4 2.0L Petrol/V6 S/C 3.0L Petrol (G1822041): Installation

WARNING: If the brake caliper piston seal is damaged a new brake caliper must be installed.

Inspect the brake caliper piston and slide pin seals for damage.

- Install the brake caliper.
- Install and tighten the brake caliper 2 slide pins.
  Torque : 58Nm
- Install the 2 dust caps.
CAUTION:
- Inspect the brake hose sealing washers for signs of damage, if damage is present install new sealing washers.
- Make sure that the brake hose is not twisted and is correctly located.

- Install the new brake caliper hose.
  Renew Part: Brake caliper hose Quantity: 1.
- Connect and tighten the brake pipe union.
  Torque : 15Nm
- Install the clip.
- Connect the brake caliper hose to the brake caliper.
- Tighten the Banjo bolt.
Torque : 32Nm

Connect the brake pad wear sensor to the brake pad.

Install the anti-rattle spring.
NOTE: If equipped.

- Install the access cover.
- Install and tighten 2 bolts.
Torque : 6Nm
Bleed the brake system.
Refer to: BRAKE SYSTEM BLEEDING
Install the wheel and tire.
