Right Heated Oxygen Sensor (G2244153): Installation

  1. CAUTION:
    • Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of corrosion and foreign material.
    • Make sure the anti-seize compound does not contact the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) tip.
    • If accidentally dropped or knocked install a new sensor.
    NOTE: If the original sensor is to be installed, apply lubricant meeting specification ESE-M12A4-A to the thread of the sensor.
    • Using the special tool, install the right Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S).

      Special Tool(s): 310-121 

      Torque  : 48Nm 

    • Connect the electrical connector and secure the wiring harness into the 3 clips.
  2. Install the right catalytic converter.

  3. Install the engine undershield.

    Refer to: TRANSMISSION UNDERSHIELD - PROJECT 8
