Powertrain Control Module (G2244159): Removal

Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.
Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
Remove the cowl panel.
Refer to: COWL PANEL

- Disconnect the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) electrical connector.
- Release the wiring harness mounting rubber.
- Reposition the wiring harness away from the PCM.
NOTE: Right hand drive vehicles only.

- Release the clip.
- Reposition the electrical connector away from the PCM bracket.

Disconnect the PCM electrical connector.

- Remove the 2 nuts.
- Remove the PCM.
NOTE: Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.

Remove the 4 nuts.
Remove the PCM bracket.
