Rear Wing Adjust - Project 8 (G2412867): Adjustment

CAUTION:

The rear wing and luggage compartment lid are unique to Project 8 vehicles and are not interchangeable with any other vehicles.
The track setting of the rear wing is not for use on the public highway.
If the vehicle has any components adjusted for track settings the vehicle must not be driven on the public highway and must be appropriately transported.

NOTE:

This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.
This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.

NOTE:
1. Repeat this step for the other side.
2. Steps 1-3 are only necessary to put the rear wing into the track position.

1. Support the rear wing.
2. Loosen bolt 1 by 2 turns.
3. Remove and discard bolt 2.

Position the rear wing in the direction illustrated.
NOTE: Repeat this step for the other side.

1. Install the new bolt in position 2.
  Renew Part: Rear wing bolts Quantity: 2.
2. Tighten the 2 bolts to the correct torque.
  Torque : 9Nm
NOTE:
1. Repeat this step for the other side.
2. Steps 4-6 are only necessary to put the rear wing into the road position.
