Auto High Beam Assist (AHBA)

The automatic headlamp system has an additional feature - Auto High Beam Assist (AHBA). The 'Hand of Traffic' must be set in the Message Center and the feature must be 'enabled' for correct operation.

NOTE: The AHBA feature may be enabled/disabled by selecting/de-selecting Activate Assist. Enabling/disabling AHBA will not affect previous 'Hand of Traffic' settings.

With the vehicle in PARK  and the ignition ON  :

  1. Use the controls on the steering wheel to select Main Menu > Vehicle Set-up > Auto High Beam Assist from the Instrument Cluster menu.
  2. Configure the 'Hand of Traffic' setting to ONLY  'Drive on Right (of road)'.
  3. Enable AHBA by selecting 'Activate Assist'.
  4. Do a visual check to make sure that there are no stickers, labels, or other obstruction directly in view of the AHBA camera sensor.
  1. Test Bluetooth® connection. 
    NOTE:
    • Make sure that the device is enabled for Bluetooth®.
    • Please refer to the "Owners" tab of the Jaguar website at www.jaguar.com, for a list of compatible phones.
    • There are two ways of pairing the Bluetooth® device and the vehicle. Detailed below is pairing to the vehicle, the other method is using the 'Vehicle to device' to pair to the device. If you use the 'Vehicle to device' method, follow the instructions on screen.

    Using a Bluetooth® capable phone and with the vehicle ignition system switched ON and the Touch Screen switched ON:

    1. Press the General settings  button, then select Bluetooth®  from the displayed menu options.
    2. From the list, select Make system discoverable  .
    3. Switch on phone's or device's Bluetooth® wireless technology device connection and search for Bluetooth® devices. On some phones, this is referred to as 'new paired device'.
      • See the phone's operating instructions for further information.
    4. A Passkey number will appear on the phone. If this number matches the number on the Touch Screen, select Yes  or press Pair  on the phone.
    5. Once a phone is paired, it will appear on the connected device list and Phone screen.
    6. Remove any paired devices.
  2. Check operation of the electric windows, and the panoramic roof panel blind.
