Passive keyless entry/Door handles
The Passive Keyless Entry/Door Handles feature allows the vehicle to be locked and unlocked by touching the exterior door handle with the Smart Key™ in your pocket. To enable Passive Keyless Entry (first time):
- Make sure the sunroof and all doors and windows are closed.
- Lock the vehicle using the Smart Key™.
- Wait for the vehicle to go to sleep. This is evident when the hazard warning lamp switch illumination extinguishes.
- With the Smart Key™ in your pocket, fully hold the door handle, this will wake the vehicle up and unlock.
- The Passive locking in now enabled.
- To test on all doors, with the Smart Key™ in your pocket:
- Press the outside of the door handle to lock the vehicle.
- Wait 5 seconds.
- Hold the door handle fully to unlock the vehicle.
- Rear tow eye.
Remove the rear towing eye and put in the stowage position. Place in the tool kit under the loadspace floor panel.
- Fit front and rear bumper towing eye covers.
Install the front towing eye cover, make sure that all clips are correctly located.
Install the rear towing eye cover, make sure that all clips are correctly located.
- Install front and rear number plates (where applicable).
Install the front number plate plinth (where applicable).
The front number plate in some markets has to be fitted via a number plate plinth. Refer to the images below for fitment.
Once the number plate plinth has been aligned and fitted, affix the number plate directly to the plinth as required.
Install the bracket as illustrated.
Make sure the plinth is straight and secure the plinth with the screws.
Install the front number plate plinth (NAS).
The front number plate in some markets has to be fitted via a number plate plinth. Refer to the images below for fitment.
Once the number plate plinth has been aligned and fitted, affix the number plate directly to the plinth as required.
Install the bracket as illustrated.
Make sure the plinth is straight and secure the plinth with the screws.
Install the rear number plate.
Install the rear number plate using the plastic screw inserts in the tailgate.
- Install the front splitter. WARNING: Do not drive on public roads if the splitter is set to track position.NOTE:
- Take extra care when removing the splitter from inside the vehicle.
- Check the splitter and all fixings are present in the transit bag before installing.

- Check the rear spoiler. WARNING:
- Make sure the rear spoiler is set to road position.
- If the rear spoiler is set to track position, make sure the vehicle is transported to destination.
- Road position.
- Track position.
- Check the vehicle ride height. CAUTION: Do not drive on public roads if the vehicle is set to track position.NOTE: Check the tool kit and make sure all items are present.
The vehicle's tool kit is located under the luggage compartment floor panel.
The tool kit consists of:
- Wheel changing guide pins.
- Additional towing eye.
- Front splitter and rear spoiler tool.
- Suspension adjustment tool.
- Rear spoiler bolts.
- Compressor.
- Sealant bottle.
Front suspension road position.
Rear suspension road position.
- Track pack plus.
Make sure the 2 kg fire extinguisher and 4 point harness are present in the vehicle.
- Bucket seat height adjustment.
