Anti-Lock Brake System Control Module

The Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) control module is secured to a mounting bracket located in the front left wheel arch. The ABS control module is mounted on the rear face of the Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU). The HCU controls all braking and stability functions by modulating hydraulic pressure to the individual wheel brakes.
If an ABS control module fault is detected, 'ABS FAULT' will be displayed in the Instrument Cluster (IC) message center. The amber warning indicator will illuminate.
