Air Conditioning Condenser - Project 8 (G2251453): Removal

NOTE:

This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.
Make sure that all openings are sealed. Use new blanking caps.

Evacuate the Air Conditioning (A/C) system.
Refer to: AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM RECOVERY, EVACUATION AND CHARGING
Remove the left headlamp assembly.
Refer to: HEADLAMP ASSEMBLY - PROJECT 8

Release the hood release cable.

- Remove the 4 clips.
- Remove the trim panel.
NOTE: Repeat this step for the other side.

- Remove the nut.
- Remove the 4 bolts.
- Remove the bracket.

- Remove the 2 clips.
- Release the radiator lower air deflector.

- Remove the bolt.
- Release the 2 clips.
- Remove the bracket.
CAUTION: Remove and discard the O-ring seals.

- Remove the nut.
- Release the A/C lower pipe.
CAUTION: Remove and discard the O-ring seals.

- Remove the bolt.
- Release the A/C upper pipe.

- Remove the 3 bolts.
- Remove the 3 brackets.

Release the clips.
Remove the A/C condenser.
