Front Seat Track Motor - Project 8 (G2263538): Installation

The following step(s) applies to:

All vehicles

- Install the seat back to the front seat track motor assembly.
- Install and tighten the 4 bolts.
Torque : 50Nm
Install the front row seat wiring harness 2. and tray assembly.
- Move the seat base tray into the correct position.
- Install the 2 clips.
- Install and tighten the 2 screws.
Torque : 7Nm
Connect the 3 electrical connectors to the seat motor.
Install the 6. clip.
- Install the seat base.
- Install the 4 front clips.
- Install the 4 rear seat base clips to the seat assembly.
- Move the seat base wiring harness to the correct position.
- Install the 3 clips.
- Install the seatbelt pretensioner.
- Install and tighten the bolt.
Torque : 40Nm
- Connect the electrical connector to the seatbelt pretensioner.
- Install the 2 clips.
- Install the seat track position sensor.
- Install and tighten the screw.
- Connect the electrical connector to the seat track position sensor.
- Install the seatbelt buckle assembly.
- Install and tighten the bolt.
  Torque : 40Nm
- Install the 3 clips.
- Move the seatbelt buckle wiring harness into the correct position.
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Install the clip.
The following step(s) applies to:

NAS vehicles
- CAUTION: Make sure the Occupant Classification Sensor (OCS) is fitted correctly to through the hole in the seat base.
  Install the Occupant Classification Sensor (OCS).
- Install the 2 clips.
- Install the OCS to the seat base.
- Install the pipe to the seat bracket
- Install and tighten the screw.
Connect the electrical connector 15. to the OCS.
The following step(s) applies to:

All vehicles
- Connect the electrical connector to the seat motor.
- Install the clip.
- Install the 2 clips.
- Install the adhesive tape.
- Move the seat frame wiring harness into the correct position.
- Install the clip.
- Install the grommet.
- Secure the wiring harness to the lumbar back cover.
- Connect the electrical connector.
Install 20. the adhesive tape.
Connect the electrical connector to the lumbar motor.
- Move the seat backrest wiring harness into the correct position.
- Install the clip.
- Install the grommet.
Install the front row seat cushion cover.

Install the front row seat backrest cover trim panel.

Connect the startup battery ground cable.
