Front Row Seat Cushion Cover - Project 8 (G2260427): Removal

Remove the front row seat.
Refer to: FRONT ROW SEAT - PROJECT 8
Remove the front row seat control switchpack.

- Remove the 5 screws.
- Remove the seat control switchpack bracket.

- Remove the 2 screws.
- Remove the trim panel.

- Release the 2 lower tension straps from the front seat base.
- Reposition the backrest cover lower trim panel to gain access to the backrest cover.

Release the 2 lower cushion cover clips.

Release the 3 right cushion cover clips.

Release the 3 left cushion cover clips.

Release the front cushion cover clip.

Disconnect the occupant detection sensor.

Remove the cushion assembly.
NOTE: Only perform the following step(s) if a new component is to be installed.

Using a suitable tool remove and discard the 25 hog rings.

Remove the cushion cover.

Remove the foam insert.
