Front Row Seat Backrest Cover - Project 8 (G2260426): Removal

Make the Supplementary Restraint System (SRS) safe.

Remove the front row seat.
Refer to: FRONT ROW SEAT - PROJECT 8
Remove the front row seat control switchpack.

- Release the 2 lower tension straps from the front seat base.
- Reposition the backrest cover lower trim panel to gain access to the backrest cover.

Release the front seat backrest cover from the backrest cover trim panel.
NOTE: Do not use excessive force to remove the component.

Release the airbag cover from the 8 clips.

Remove the screw and the side airbag trim cover.

Disconnect the side airbag electrical connector.

Remove the 2 side airbag nuts and the side airbag.

Remove the side seat trim cover.

Remove the 2 screws and the trim panel.

Release the front seat backrest cover from the trim panel.

Release the upper seat cover from the velcro tab to gain access to the hog rings.
