- If both seats are at fault, using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, make sure the HVAC Control Module (HVAC) is updated to the latest level software and retest the system
- Check wiring harness for circuit faults including bent/backed out pins and rectify as required
- Check backrest heater mat is securely connected
- If no circuit faults are present and if backrest heater connection are secure, then replace either the seat cushion or the backrest heater mats as required (see guidance notes below for advice on pinpointing which heater mat is faulty)
