Right Catalytic Converter (G2244167): Installation

  1. NOTE: If the sensor is not being replaced with a new component. Make sure that a suitable anti seize grease is applied to the sensor thread.

    Using the special tool install the 2 Heated Oxygen Sensors (HO2S).

    Special Tool(s): 310-121 

    Torque  : 48Nm 

    • Install the catalytic converter.
    • Install and tighten the 2 nuts.

    Torque  : 40Nm 

    • Connect the electrical connector.
    • Install the wiring harness to the clip.
    • Install the transmission heatshield.
    • Install and tighten the 3 bolts.

    Torque  : 12Nm 

    • Connect the electrical connector.
    • Install the clip.
    • Install the heatshield.
    • Install and tighten the 3 bolts.

    Torque  : 12Nm 

  7. Install the front muffler.

  8. Install the engine undershield.

    Refer to: ENGINE UNDERSHIELD - PROJECT 8
