Exhaust System Center Section (G2270513): Removal

Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: LIFTING
Remove the rear undershield.
Refer to: REAR UNDERSHIELD - PROJECT 8
CAUTION: Make sure the rear bumper cover is not damaged when following this step.

- Remove the 2 exhaust clamps.
- Reposition the rear silencers away from the exhaust system center section.
CAUTION: Support the exhaust system using a suitable stand.

Release the 4 mounting rubbers.
WARNING: This step requires the aid of another technician.

- Remove the 2 exhaust clamps.
- Remove the exhaust system center section.

Using a suitable cutting tool remove and discard the 2 clamps.
