Left Engine Mount (G1997936): Installation

- NOTE:
- This step is only required if a new engine mount is to be installed.
- This step only applies to L560 vehicles manufactured up to 10/2020 and X761 vehicles manufactured up to 09/2020.
Install the section of active engine mount vacuum hose, as shown in the illustration.
Renew Part Vacuum pipe attachment - left side Quantity: 1 .
- Install the engine mount to the vehicle.
- Lower the vehicle jack until the engine bracket rests on the engine mount.
- Install the engine mount to subframe bolts finger tight at this stage.
- Install the engine mount to engine bracket nut finger tight at this stage.
- Remove the hydraulic jack from under the vehicle.
General Equipment: Hydraulic floor jacks (2 tonnes minimum capacity)
- Fully tighten the engine mount to subframe bolts.
Torque: 47 Nm
- Fully tighten the engine mount to engine bracket nut.
Torque: 60 Nm
- Raise the vehicle on the lift to an appropriate working height.
- Connect the vacuum pipe to the engine mount.
- Install the air deflector.

- Lower the vehicle to the floor.
