Main Wiring Harness (G1862905): Installation

The following step(s) applies to: 

All vehicles

    Install the main wiring harness.

    Install the 8 clips.

    1. Connect the electrical connector.
    2. Install and tighten the 2 nuts.
    3. Install the 4 clips.

    1. Install and tighten the 3 nuts.
    2. Install the clip.

    1. Install and tighten the bolt.
    2. Connect the electrical connector.

    1. Install and tighten the nut.

      Torque  : 10Nm 

    2. Connect the electrical connector.
    3. Install the 2 clips.

    1. Install and tighten the bolt.

      Torque  : 10Nm 

    2. Install and tighten the 4 nuts.

      Torque  : 10Nm 

    3. Connect the electrical connector.
    4. Install the 2 clips.

    1. Install and tighten the nut.

      Torque  : 10Nm 

    2. Connect the 8 electrical connectors.
    3. Install the 2 clips.

    1. Install and tighten the bolt.

      Torque  : 10Nm 

    2. Install and tighten the 2 nuts.

      Torque  : 10Nm 

    3. Connect the 5 electrical connectors.
    4. Install the 4 clips.

    Install the 5 clips.

    1. Connect the 16 electrical connectors.
    2. Install the 7 clips.

    1. Reposition the bracket as illustrated.
    2. Install and tighten the 4 bolts.

      Torque  : 10Nm 

    3. Install and tighten the nut.

      Torque  : 10Nm 

    4. Install the wiring harness to the stud.

    Install the 13 clips.

    1. Connect the 9 electrical connectors.
    2. Install the 12 clips.

    1. Install the grommet.
    2. Connect the 3 electrical connectors.
    3. Install the 4 clips.

    1. Connect the 2 electrical connectors.
    2. Install the 8 clips.

    1. Install the bracket.
    2. Install and tighten the 2 bolts.

    1. Install the rear wheel arch liner.
    2. Install the 6 clips.
    3. Install and tighten the 4 screws.
  21. NOTE: Repeat this step for the other side.

    Install the rear left wheel and tire.

    Refer to: WHEEL AND TIRE

    1. Connect the 4 electrical connectors.
    2. Install the 5 clips.
    3. Install the wiring harness to the 2 studs.

    2. Install the 5 clips.

    1. Connect the 2 electrical connectors.
    2. Install the 2 clips.

    1. Connect the 5 electrical connectors.
    2. Install and tighten the nut.

      Torque  : 10.5Nm 

    3. Install the 3 clips.
    4. Install the wiring harness to the stud.

    The following step(s) applies to: 

    Vehicles without fuel fired heater

    1. Connect the 2 electrical connectors.
    2. Install the grommet.

    1. Connect the electrical connector.
    2. Install the 5 clips.
    3. Install the grommet.
  30. Install the fuel tank.

    Install the cover.

    1. Connect the electrical connector.
    2. Install the 3 clips.

    1. Connect the 7 electrical connectors.
    2. Install the 3 clips.
    3. Install the wiring harness to the stud.

    1. Install the bracket.
    2. Install and tighten the 3 nuts.

      Torque  : 10Nm 

    3. Install the clip.

    1. Install the bracket.
    2. Install and tighten the bolt.

      Torque  : 10Nm 

    3. Install and tighten the nut.

      Torque  : 10Nm 

    4. Install the 3 clips.
    5. Connect the 2 electrical connectors.
    6. Install the grommet.
    7. Install the wiring harness to the 2 studs.

    1. Connect the electrical connector.
    2. Install the clip.
    3. Install the grommet.

    2. Connect the 2 electrical connectors.
    3. Install the 3 clips.

    Install and tighten the 2 nuts.

    1. Install the wiring harness to the 2 studs.
    2. Connect the electrical connector.
    3. Install and tighten the nut.
    4. Install the 5 clips.

    1. Install and tighten the bolt.

      Torque  : 10Nm 

    2. Install the bracket.
    3. Install and tighten the nut.

      Torque  : 10Nm 

    4. Connect the electrical connector.
    5. Install the 3 clips.
    6. Reposition the wiring harness as illustrated.

    Connect the rear door wiring harness.

    1. Install the grommet.
    2. Install the clip.

    1. Install and tighten the 2 nuts.

      Torque  : 10Nm 

    2. Install the body control module.

    1. Install the wiring harness to the clip.
    2. Connect the 6 electrical connectors.
    3. Install the 13 clips.

    1. Install the bracket to the 4 studs.
    2. Install and tighten the bolt.
    3. Install the 5 clips.

    1. Install the park assist module.
    2. Install and tighten the bolt.

      Torque  : 10Nm 

    3. Install and tighten the nut.

      Torque  : 10Nm

    Install the 4 clips.

    Connect the 6 electrical connectors.

  69. Install the luggage compartment treadplate.

  70. Install the rear seat backrest cover.

    Remove the left side front row seat.

  72. Install the A-pillar lower trim panel.

  73. Install the B-pillar lower trim panel.

  74. Install the headliner.

  75. Install the thermostatic expansion valve.

    Refer to: THERMOSTATIC EXPANSION VALVE

  76. Connect the startup battery ground cable.
