Engine Wiring Harness - V6 S/C 3.0L Petrol (G2272441): Installation

  1. Install the engine wiring harness.
  2. Install the 4 Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) sensor wiring harness clips.
    1. Connect the transfer case electrical connector.
    2. Install the wiring harness bracket.
  4. Install the wiring bracket at the rear of the transmission.
  5. Install the 5 wiring harness clips at the left side of the transmission.
    1. Connect the transmission electrical connector.
    2. Install the 5 wiring harness clips.
    3. Install the wiring harness bracket.
    1. Install the rear top wiring harness bracket.
    2. Install and tighten the 2 screws.

      Torque  : 9Nm 

  8. Install the 2 vacuum pipe clips.
    1. Connect oil pump electrical connector.
    2. Install the 4 wiring harness clips.
    1. Reposition and support the Air Conditioning (A/C) compressor.
    2. Install and tighten the 3 bolts.

      Torque  : 25Nm 

    1. Connect A/C compressor electrical connector.
    2. Install the wiring harness clip.
  12. Install accessory drive belt.
  13. Install the 2 lower wiring harness brackets.
    1. Connect the 2 HO2S electrical connectors.
    2. Install the 3 wiring harness clips.
    1. Connect oil level and temperature sensor electrical connector.
    2. Connect Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor electrical connector.
    3. Install the 4 wiring harness clips.
    1. Connect the generator electrical connector.
    2. Connect the 2 fuel pump electrical connectors.
    3. Install the starter motor wiring harness nut.
    4. Install the 3 wiring harness clips.
    1. Connect the knock sensor link harness electrical connector.
    2. Connect the fuel rail pressure and temperature sensor electrical connector.
    3. Connect the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor electrical connector.
    1. Connect the supercharger pressure and temperature sensor electrical connector.
    2. Install the 2 wiring harness clips.
    1. Install the 4 cable brackets.
    2. Reposition the Emergency Park Install (EPR) lever assembly.
    3. Install and tighten the bolt.

      Torque  : 9Nm 

  20. Install the left upper wiring harness bracket assembly.
  21. Reposition the purge valve assembly.
    1. Connect the 3 left ignition coil electrical connectors.
    2. Connect the 3 left fuel injector electrical connectors.
    3. Connect the left Gasoline Particulate Filter (GPF) differential pressure sensor electrical connector.
    4. Install the fuel vapor pipe.
  23. Install the right upper wiring harness bracket assembly.
    1. Connect the 3 right ignition coil electrical connectors.
    2. Connect the 3 right fuel injector electrical connectors.
    1. Connect the 4 electrical connectors in the area of the right Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT) solenoid.
    2. Install and tighten the ground cable bolt.

      Torque  : 9Nm 

    3. Install the wiring harness clip.
    1. Connect the 4 electrical connectors in the area of the left VCT solenoid.
    2. Install and tighten the ground cable bolt.

      Torque  : 9Nm 

    3. Install the wiring harness clip.
    1. Reposition the thermostat assembly.
    2. Install and tighten the bolt.

      Torque  : 9Nm 

    1. Connect the 2 electrical connectors in the area of thermostat.
    2. Install the 2 wiring harness clips.
    1. Connect the 4 electrical connectors in the area of the throttle body.
    2. Install the 2 wiring harness clips.
    1. Install the vacuum pipe clip.
    2. Install the left engine Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) material.
    1. Remove the oil filler cap.
    2. Install the left NVH material.
    3. Install the oil filler cap.
    1. Connect the 4 supercharger coolant pipes.
    2. Connect the brake vacuum pipe.
  33. Fill the cooling system.

    Refer to: COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING

  34. Install the exhaust system.

    Refer to: EXHAUST SYSTEM

  35. Install the air cleaner outlet pipe t-connector.

    Refer to: AIR CLEANER OUTLET PIPE T-CONNECTOR

  36. Install the right air cleaner outlet pipe.

    Refer to: RIGHT AIR CLEANER OUTLET PIPE

  37. Install the left air cleaner outlet pipe.

    Refer to: LEFT AIR CLEANER OUTLET PIPE

  38. Install the secondary bulkhead right panel.

    Refer to: SECONDARY BULKHEAD RIGHT PANEL - V6 S/C 3.0L PETROL

  39. Install the secondary bulkhead left panel.

    Refer to: SECONDARY BULKHEAD LEFT PANEL - V6 S/C 3.0L PETROL

  40. Connect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
