Engine Wiring Harness - INGENIUM I4 2.0L Petrol (G2046723): Installation

  1. Install the engine wiring harness.
  2. Connect the 4 engine wiring harness connectors to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
    1. Connect the 6 electrical connectors in the area of the ignition coils.
    2. Install the wiring harness clip.
    3. Install and tighten the 2 bolts.

      Torque  : 10Nm 

    1. Connect the 8 electrical connectors at the top of the engine.
    2. Install and tighten the 2 bolts.

      Torque  : 10Nm 

    3. Install the 4 wiring harness clips.
    1. Connect the 4 electrical connectors at the rear of the engine.
    2. Install the 4 wiring harness clips.
  6. NOTE: If equipped.

    Connect the Gasoline Particulate Filter (GPF) pressure sensor electrical connector.

    1. Connect the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor electrical connector.
    2. Connect the wiring harness clip.
    1. Connect the 3 electrical connectors in the area of the thermostat.
    2. Install the wiring harness bracket.
    1. Connect the knock sensor electrical connector.
    2. Connect the cylinder block temperature sensor electrical connector.
    3. Connect the thermostat electrical connector.
    4. Install the wiring harness clip.
    1. Connect the electrical connector in the area of Air Conditioning (A/C) compressor.
    2. Install the 3 wiring harness clips.
    1. Connect the 2 electrical connectors in the area of the charge air cooler.
    2. Install the 2 wiring harness clips.
    1. Connect the 2 Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor electrical connectors.
    2. Install and tighten the 2 bolts.

      Torque  : 10Nm 

    1. Connect the 3 electrical connectors in the area of the oil filter housing.
    2. Install and tighten the 2 bolts.

      Torque  : 10Nm 

    3. Install the wiring harness bracket.
    1. Connect the 2 coolant pump harness electrical connectors.
    2. Connect the compressor recirculation valve electrical connector.
    3. Install the wiring harness clip.
  15. Install the intake manifold assembly.

  16. Install the intake air resonator.

    Refer to: INTAKE AIR RESONATOR

  17. Connect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
