Tire Pressure Monitoring System Control Module

The Radio Frequency (RF) receiver is integrated into the Tire Pressure Monitoring System Control Module (TPMSCM). The TPMSCM is mounted on the headliner and connected to the wiring harness using a 6-pin plug.
Only 4 wires of the 6-pin plug are used:
- CAN-H
- CAN-L
- GND
- VBAT.
The TPMSCM receives transmissions from each of the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensors which are sent via the RF receiver by an internal antenna in each of the TPMS sensors. This information is then decoded and analyzed. Any required warnings along with current tire pressure information is communicated on the High Speed (HS) Controller Area Network (CAN) chassis systems bus.
