DTC C1A96-64: Brake Light Switch - Signal plausibility failure: Action

NOTE: After clearing the DTCs, the warning indicator(s) may not extinguish until the vehicle speed has exceeded 15 km/h (10 mph)

Check if the brake pedal and accelerator pedal have been pressed simultaneously. Clear the DTC and retest
Check the brake pedal switch installation and adjustment. Repair as required
Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the brake pedal switch circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the circuit as required. Clear the DTC and retest
