Information And Message Center - Project 8: Operation

The information and messages which can be displayed in the message center are mainly generated from other system control modules.

When a system control module detects a change or a fault which is tagged to generate a message, an electronic signal is sent via High Speed (HS) Controller Area Network (CAN) buses to the Instrument Cluster (IC), which displays the message. If more than one message is requested the message center displays them in order of priority.
