Pinpoint Test E: Wipers - Erratic Movement Diagnostics (2)

  1. E1: INSPECT WIPER BLADES FOR DIRT OR OTHER CONTAMINATION 
    1. Visually inspect wiper blade(s) for dirt or other sources of contamination.

    Are the contact surfaces of the wiper blades dirty?

    Yes 

    If the wiper blades are dirty, clean with damp lint-free cloth. Then, retest operation. If the wiper movement is now smooth, return the vehicle to the customer. If the movement is still erratic, then GO to PINPOINT TEST F .

    No 

    GO to PINPOINT TEST F .
