Washer Fluid Level Sensor

The washer fluid level sensor has a float with integral magnet which is connected to the BCM/GWM assembly through hardwired connection. The sensor has a contact, which is normally open when the windshield washer reservoir is full. When the washer fluid level reduces to approximately one liter, the magnetic float pivots down, and close the switch contacts. The BCM/GWM assembly then sends a message to the Instrument Cluster (IC) through the High Speed (HS) Controller Area Network (CAN) comfort systems bus, the 'WASHER FLUID LOW' message is displayed in the message center.
