Constant Velocity Joint Boots (G2257944): Installation

- Clean and inspect the outer Constant Velocity (CV) joint for deterioration.
- Pack the outer CV joint with the grease supplied.
  Renew Part: Inner and outer constant velocity joint boot kit Quantity: 1.
- Secure the outer CV boot to the outer CV joint.
NOTE:
- Make sure the outer CV boot is correctly fitted.
- Make sure the retaining clip is correctly seated.

Using a suitable tool, install the 2 retaining clips.

Install the inner CV boot and retaining clip.
Using a suitable soft drift, install the bearings.
Install a new circlip.
Renew Part: Circlip Quantity: 1.

- Install the inner CV joint.

Secure the inner CV boot to the inner CV joint.
NOTE:
- Make sure the inner CV boot is correctly fitted.
- Make sure the retaining clip is correctly seated.

Using a suitable tool, install the retaining clips.
Install the front halfshaft.
