Hood - Project 8 (G2249569): Installation

  1. NOTE: Only do the following step(s) if the component was previously removed.
    1. Install the hood vent.
    2. Install and tighten the 16 nuts.

      Torque  : 7Nm 

    1. Install the 4 bump stops.
    2. Install the 2 strikers.
    3. Install the hood safety catch assembly and secure the cables with the 6 clips.
    4. Install and tighten the 10 bolts.

      Torque  : 10Nm 

  3. NOTE: Do not tighten the nuts at this stage.
    1. With assistance, install the hood.
    2. Install the 6 nuts.
    3. Secure the 2 struts.
  4. Align the hood.
