Exhaust Back-Pressure Sensor - If Equipped

An exhaust back-pressure sensor is mounted to the engine for each cylinder bank. Each exhaust back-pressure sensor is mounted on a bracket, which is secured to the respective camshaft cover with 2 nuts. The exhaust back-pressure sensor is connected to the exhaust manifold via a hose and a pipe. The pipe is secured to the exhaust manifold with a banjo bolt and sealed with 2 self retaining sealing washers.
The exhaust back-pressure sensors are connected to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) via hardwired connection.
