Fuel Pump Camshaft (G1851649): Installation

  1. CAUTION: Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.

    Torque: 12Nm

  6. CAUTION: Using a suitable tool, lock the component.

    Torque: 21Nm

    • Install the lower timing chain making sure the coloured chain links align correctly with the fuel rail high-pressure fuel pumps camshaft, balance weight and crankshaft sprocket markings.

    Torque: 11Nm 

  9. Refer to: OIL PAN EXTENSION 
  10. Connect the battery ground cable.

    Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
