Hood - Project 8 (G2249569): Removal

NOTE: This step requires the aid of another technician.

- Open and support the hood.
- Release the 2 struts.
- Remove the 6 nuts.
- With assistance, remove the hood.
NOTE: Only do the following step(s) if a new component is to be installed.

- Release the 2 cables from the 6 clips.
- Remove the 10 nuts.
- Remove the hood safety catch assembly.
- Remove the 2 strikers.
- Remove the 4 bump stops.

- Remove the 16 nuts.
- Remove the hood vent.
