Coolant Pump: Installation

  1. Install the coolant pump.

    Torque: 12 Nm 

  2. Connect the 2 electrical connectors.
  3. Install the coolant pump pulley and bolts finger tight.
  4. Install the accessory drive belt.
  5. WARNING: Make sure the accessory drive belt tensioner is held securely before removing the locking tool.
    CAUTION: Make sure the belt is aligned correctly with the accessory drive belt pulleys.
    • Remove the tensioner locking tool.
    • Tension the accessory drive belt by slowly releasing the tensioner.
  6. Fully tighten the coolant pump pulley bolts.

    Torque: 25 Nm 

  7. Install the front right wheel arch liner.

    Refer to: FRONT WHEEL ARCH LINER .

  8. Install the front right wheel and tire.

    Refer to: WHEEL AND TIRE .

  9. Vacuum fill the cooling system.

    Refer to: COOLING SYSTEM PARTIAL DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING .

  10. Connect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: SPECIFICATIONS .
