Turbocharger Oil Supply Tube: Removal

NOTE: This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specifications, but the essential information is always correct.
  1. Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

    Refer to: LIFTING .

  2. Remove the accessory drive belt.

    Refer to: ACCESSORY DRIVE BELT .

  3. WARNING: Be prepared to collect escaping oil.

    • Release the turbocharger oil feed pipe.
    • Remove and discard the banjo bolt and washers.
  4. WARNING: Be prepared to collect escaping oil.
