Tire Pressure Sensor (G2163965): Installation

CAUTION: Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.
Clean the valve seat on the wheel.

CAUTION:
- If the existing tire pressure sensor is to be installed, a new washer, seal and nut must be installed.

- Do not apply any lubricant to the new valve.
- Do not use compressed air to clean the sensor. Do not clean the sensor with solvents or cleaning agents of any type, use a clean dry cloth.
NOTE: Make sure that the components are installed in correct orientation.Install the sensor.
Torque : 8 Nm

CAUTION:
- Make sure to aid the installation of the tire with a lever bar to avoid damage to the tire pressure sensor.
- Make sure to protect the surrounding paintwork.
Install the tire to the wheel.
General Equipment: Tyre changer
- Install the valve.

WARNING: Take extra care not to bend or damage the valve stem during inflation.
Inflate the tire until the tire is fully seated on to the wheel.
- Inflate the tire to the maximum pressure as stated on the tire sidewall and then deflate to the recommended pressure.

- Install the cap.
- Balance the wheel and tire assembly.

- Install the wheel and tire.

- If a new component has been installed, configure using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment.
