Tire Pressure Monitor Module (G2163964): Removal

NOTE:

This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
The ignition must be switched off.

Remove the front overhead console.
Refer to: OVERHEAD CONSOLE .
Remove the left and right A-pillar trim panels.
Refer to: A-PILLAR TRIM PANEL .

- Release the 2 front airbag covers on both sides.
- Remove the 2 bolts.

Fold sun visors down on both sides.

Release the sun visors from the brackets on both sides.

Open the 2 sun visor bracket covers.

- Remove the 2 screws.
- Remove the sun visor brackets.

Remove the 2 sun visor screw covers on both sides.
NOTE: Repeat the step for the other side.

Remove the 2 screws.

Release the sun visors from the roof on both sides.
CAUTION: Take extra care not to damage the component.

NOTE: Take extra care when releasing the clips.

Carefully release the headliner front section.

Remove the 2 tapes on both sides.

- Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors.
- Remove the sun visors on both sides.
NOTE: Take extra care when releasing the clips.

- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Remove the tire pressure monitor module.
