Brake Master Cylinder (G2172299): Removal
CAUTION:

- If brake fluid is spilt on the paintwork, the affected area must be immediately washed down with cold water.
- Before disconnecting any components, make sure the area is clean and free from foreign material. When disconnected all openings must be sealed.
- Make sure the brake pipes are not damaged when displacing the brake master cylinder and ABS module. Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the vehicle.

All vehicles
- Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

- Remove the brake fluid reservoir.
Refer to: BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR .
The following step(s) applies to:
Right-hand drive vehicles
- Remove the secondary bulkhead center panel.

WARNING: Fluid loss is unavoidable, use absorbent cloth or a container to collect the fluid.
Disconnect the 2 brake pipes.

CAUTION: Discard the seal and the retaining nuts.
Remove the brake master cylinder.
