Cooling Module (G2185910): Removal

NOTE:

This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.
This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.

Remove the front armature.
Refer to: FRONT ARMATURE .
Drain the cooling system.
Refer to: COOLING SYSTEM PARTIAL DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING .
Release the auxiliary coolant pump.
Refer to: COOLANT PUMP - CHARGE AIR COOLER .
Evacuate the Air Conditioning (A/C) system.
Refer to: AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM RECOVERY, EVACUATION AND CHARGING .
Remove the horn assembly.
Refer to: HORN .

Release the wiring harness and clips.

Remove the fasteners and release the cooling module air duct.

Release the retaining clips.

- Release the retaining clips.
- Remove the radiator air duct.

Disconnect the cooling fan electrical connector.

Disconnect the 3 left side coolant hoses

Release and position the coolant bleed hose from the radiator to one side.

Release the clips and disconnect the 3 right side coolant hoses.

Disconnect the Air Conditioning (A/C) pipes. Discard the seals.

Remove the cooling module.
