Transfer Case Control Module (TCCM) (G1677435): Removal

CAUTION: If a new component is to be installed, connect the approved diagnostic equipment prior to removal, the adaptive parameter data must then be downloaded. This data will be lost during removal and is required for component configuration on installation.
NOTE:

  1. Connect the approved diagnostic equipment to obtain any fault code data (or) any diagnostic trouble codes (DTC's).
  2. Remove the battery ground cable.

    Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect (General Procedures).

  3. WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

    Raise and support the vehicle.

  4. Refer to: Air Deflector (Removal and Installation).

    Torque Specification: 7 Nm
