Extension Housing Seal - V6 S/C 3.0L Petrol/V8 5.0L Petrol/V8 S/C 5.0L Petrol (G1571598): Removal

  1. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect (General Procedures).
  2. WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

    Raise and support the vehicle.

  3. NOTE: Mark the position of the driveshaft on the transmission flange.

  4. CAUTION:
    • Make sure that the driveshaft is supported with suitable retaining straps.
    • Discard the bolts.

    Tie aside with a suitable tie strap.

  5. Refer to TRANSMISSION SUPPORT INSULATOR - V6 3.0L PETROL/V6 S/C 3.0L PETROL/V8 5.0L PETROL/V8 S/C 5.0L PETROL (G1271945)  (Removal and Installation).

  6. CAUTION: Discard the nut.
