Pinpoint Test C: The Engine Does Not Reach Normal Operating Temperature

TEST CONDITIONS 

DETAILS/RESULTS/ACTIONS 

  1. C1: CHECK THERMOSTAT 
    1. Check the thermostat for correct operation. REFER to the thermostat component test in this section.

    Is the thermostat operating correctly?

    • Yes  : Check for correct operation of cooling fans, circuits, sensors, modules, etc
    • No  : INSTALL a new thermostat. TEST the system for correct operation.
