- Clutch apply piston:
- Pressure from the actuator compresses the clutch pack, enabling the transfer of torque from the vehicle's rear axle to the front axle
- The clutch pressure is varied to control the amount of torque which can be transferred to the front axle.
- Output to front axle is via the chain.
- Output to rear axle
