DTC P0088-85: Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High - Signal above allowable range: Action

- Vehicle Conditions to enable DTC Logging Strategy
- Engine running greater than 1 minute
- Inspect connectors for signs of water ingress, and pins for damage and/or corrosion
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the fuel rail pressure sensor circuit for
- Short circuit to power
- Check pressure relief valve for mechanical integrity
- Check and install a new fuel rail pressure sensor, only when diagnosed as failed
- Using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system, clear all stored DTCs and retest
