Removal And Installation: Installation

  1. NOTE: This step is only required if previously removed.
    • Install the exhaust cross brace.
    • Connect the exhaust hanger brackets.
  2. CAUTION: Make sure the exhaust system is supported at all times.
    • With assistance from another technician, install the exhaust system.
    • Secure the cross brace in position with the 4 bolts.

      Torque Specification: 25 Nm 

  3. With assistance from another technician, support the exhaust system and connect the 4 hanger brackets.
    CAUTION: Make sure the exhaust system is supported at all times.
  4. Install the exhaust into position and secure with a new clamp between the exhaust system and the catalytic converter assembly.
    NOTE: Install a new exhaust clamp.

    Renew Part: Front exhaust clamp.

    Torque Specification: 56 Nm 

  5. Install the left side and the right side under shields.

    Torque Specification: 7 Nm 

  6. Install the air deflector.

    Refer to: Air Deflector .

  7. Connect the battery ground cable.

    Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect .

  8. Lower the vehicle.
