- Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical or electrical damage.

- Shock absorbers
- Accelerometer(s) installation
- Height sensor(s) installation
- Suspension air supply unit
- Solenoid valve block
- Battery
- Fuse(s)
- Wiring harness physical damage or water ingress
- Loose or corroded electrical connectors
- CAN circuits
- Accelerometer(s)
- Height sensor(s)
- Integrated suspension control module
- If an obvious cause for an observed or reported concern is found, correct the cause (if possible) before proceeding to the next step.
- If the cause is not visually evident, check the system for any logged diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) and refer to DTC Index .
