- The powertrain control module measures a signal that remains low when transitions are expected
- Manifold absolute pressure sensor circuit, for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance
- Intake manifold air leak
- Throttle adaption failure
- Blocked air filter
- Engine breather leakage
- Carbon obstruction around throttle blade
- Manifold absolute pressure sensor failure
- Damaged catalytic converter
- Blocked exhaust system
