Removal And Installation: Removal

All vehicles 

  1. Refer to: BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT .
  2. WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.

    Raise and support the vehicle.

  3. Refer to: EXHAUST SYSTEM - RWD (G1551299) .

    Refer to: EXHAUST SYSTEM - AWD (G1576765) .

Left-hand drive vehicles 

  1. Refer to: STEERING GEAR - RWD .

    Refer to: STEERING GEAR - AWD .

All vehicles

  3. NOTE: Remove and discard the O-ring seal.

  7. CAUTION: Discard the bolts.
    NOTE:
    • Discard the gasket.
    • Make sure that the position of the spacers is noted before removal of the manifold.
