Input Shaft Seal (G1571595): Removal

  1. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect (General Procedures).
  2. WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

    Raise and support the vehicle.

  3. Refer to: TRANSMISSION - V6 3.0L PETROL (G1373027) , TRANSMISSION - V6 S/C 3.0L PETROL/V8 5.0L PETROL/V8 S/C 5.0L PETROL (G1551362)  and TRANSMISSION - V8 5.0L PETROL/V8 S/C 5.0L PETROL (G1271948)  (Removal).

    Special Tool(s):  307-613

  5. CAUTION:
    • Take extra care not to damage the edges of the component.
    • Discard the seal.
